We decided to look for a compressor that would be perfect for contractors, carpenters and framers, and it didn’t take us long to find a great option for professionals and homeowners alike. In our Maxus-EX8000 Air Compressor Review we found its performance flawless while running two high impact framing guns.  The 4hp tanks supplied plenty of pressure and great SCFM (standard cubic feet per minute) and it recycles itself at a very reasonable pace. Although no air compressor is quiet, we found the Maxus quieter than most compressors with such a large horsepower motor. This is one of the most generous offers that we have come across on an air compressor.  Although we found no reason to doubt its performance and reliability it is good to know they stand behind their products. As an air compressor built for the not so do-it-yourselfer, the EX8000 is great for professionals that:

As far as the mobility of this unit goes, like most professional grade air compressors, this one is on the beefy side. Weighing in at over 70 lbs, it’s good to make sure you have an appropriate length of hose. It’s worth mentioning again that the Maxus EX8000 is not exactly your, have around the house compressor. This compressor is much better suited for people who earn a living using it.  For the DIY’er it may be best to look for a smaller, less powerful compressor. It will keep two people working, without lags or interruption of proper air flow.
